I had to remind her I had brought a dog, and she had to ask a manager for the paperwork! No promised goodies in the room either, so I asked at the desk the next day. The desk clerk seemed mystified by the PetStay thing. I was not even asked for my card (I had my paper confirmation with me), as I had made the reservation through Total Rewards. I had to walk past this massive line of people to find it, it was so much shorter. There is a seperate check-in line that is much faster. Every morning we took the dog to Silverado Park (down by the South Point) to walk and meet local dogs. The potty area is tiny, but gets the job done. We would have had to walk him through the lobby (chaos) every time we took him out otherwise. I'm glad I did, since it turned out to be the closest to parking and the potty area (which is right next to the valet). From previous posts I had reserved a GO petstay room. We were given two really nice dog bowls, two bags of organic treats, a roll of potty bags in a branded holder and a "pet in room" hang tag. It was $50 a night extra (about the same as boarding). Overall i think this place has gotten better from when i stayed there back in like 2011. Which is what i was told by the personnel who called me on my cell, that it would be ready. But when i went down to the Nook to pick up my room service around 12:15 pm the order hadnt even been started. Since the phone didn't work i placed a room service order through the app on my cell phone around 11:30 am, i was called from the Nook from my personal cell phone to tell me that my phone in the room wasnt working, which i knew already. They were stuffy if more than 3 people were in them. The elevators also have no air conditioning. you can see stains all up and down the hallways. The carpets in the hallways need to be steam cleaned. and brought the room temp down from 80 to about 70 degrees. So we left and came back, and after another 20 minutes it finally turned on. The AC was not able to turn on for about 35 minutes. I did call the front desk on my personal cell to let them know and was told they would come fix it, but nothing happenned. The dislikes were that our phone did not work. ![]() I liked the restaurant variety and the live animals and garden areas. The staff at the front desk were helpful. My likes are the location of the Flamingo.
